Board Report At the Monday, June 15 Swanton Public Library Board of Trustees meeting: - Trustees adjusted appropriations.
- Managed IT services for library computers will be implemented.
- The School Board approved the library’s
renewal levy to appear on this November’s ballot. - Blue Sky’s bid to do roof and ceiling repairs was accepted.
- The next regular Board of Trustees meeting is scheduled for 7:00 pm on Monday, July 20. The public is welcome to attend.

Classes are $5.00 per person.
- Color Me Calm – NEW DAY! Monday, July 13 at 1:30 pm. Adults, please come and color your stress away while listening to music and enjoying coffee or tea. All supplies provided.
- Dungeons & Dragons Club – Tuesdays, July 7, 14, and 28 at 4:30 pm. Bring a fifth edition third-level character sheet if possible. New players, register on our website’s calendar.
- D&D Workshop – Tuesday, July 21 at 4:30 pm. Work on character creation, miniature painting, and more.
- Mahjong Mania – Tuesdays at 2:00 pm and Wednesdays at 6:00 pm. Join other enthusiasts at the library to watch, observe, and/or play this fun game!
- Fiber Arts Fiends – Wednesdays, July 8 and 22 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Fiber artists of all levels invited!
- Seam Rippers Sewing Club – Wednesday, July 22 from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. Bring your current sewing project. Packed lunches welcome!
- ChessNuts – Wednesdays at 5:00 pm. Adults of all skill levels are welcome to play chess.
- Library Bingo Night – Thursday, July 9 at 6:00 pm. Join us at the library for a night of good old-fashioned Bingo! Prizes and light refreshments will be included.
- Writers’ Group – Thursdays, July 9 and 23 at 6:00 pm. This group is for writers at every stage of their journey to gather, create, and connect. We welcome all genres, styles, and levels of literary mastery. Simply bring yourself and the willingness to start writing!
- Swanton Historical Society – Fridays at 10:00 am. Anyone who would like to volunteer or join, ask questions, or just chat is welcome to attend!
