Kids Events
- Simply STEAM: Adaptation: Winter Survival for Humans – Thursday, February 5 at 4:15 pm. What can humans do to survive the winter? Grades K-4.
- STEAM Club: Slime Time – Friday, February 6 at 4:15 pm. Come experiment with all the different ways to make slime! All ages.
- Take Your Child to the Library Day – Saturday, February 7 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Engaging activities and crafts set up open-house style, with refreshments and a storytime at noon! Participants get small prizes for each station they visit, and both a kids’ prize basket and an adult prize basket will be raffled off to two lucky winners at 1:30 pm!
- Simply STEAM: Winter Survival Fun: Hibernation – Thursday, February 12 at 4:15 pm. Design your own warmer dog house! Grades K-4.
- Family Valentine’s Day Party – Friday, February 13 at 3:30 pm. Kids, teens, and their families are invited to join us at the library the day before Valentine’s Day to decorate cookies and make all kinds of different Valentine cards and crafts to give out! Sweet treats, games, and more!
- STEAM Club: Paper Hearts – Friday, February 13 at 4:15 pm. Fold all kinds of origami hearts. All ages.
- Youth Chess Club – Thursday, February 19 at 4:15 pm. Join librarian and chess player Alonna to learn more about the game! Open to all youth.
- STEAM Club: The Engineering Design Challenge – Friday, February 20 at 4:15 pm. Design a solution for a problem using only the materials on hand. All ages.
- Bingo Night – Wednesday, February 25 at 6:00 pm. Grab your friends and join us for a night of good old-fashioned Bingo! Prizes and light refreshments included. All ages.
- Simply STEAM: Snowflake Science – Thursday, February 26 at 4:15 pm. Learn all about the science behind snowflakes! Grades K-4.
- STEAM Club: Canvas Painting– Friday, February 27 at 4:15 pm. Paint on different sizes of canvas to take home. All ages.
- Pokémon Club for Kids & Teens – Saturday, February 28 at 11:00 am. Celebrate the day after Pokémon Day.
