Join the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) clubs at the library! Kids in grades K-4 can come to the Simply STEAM programs on Thursdays at 4:15 pm; kids in grades K-12 are invited to participate on Fridays at 4:15 pm.

- April 2 – Easter Egg Art. Color eggs with whipped cream and food coloring.
- April 9 – Watercolor Techniques. Experiment with painting using watercolors!
- April 23 – Recycle Art. Celebrate National Library Week and Earth Day by making art out of recycled materials!
- April 30 – Monarch Butterflies. Learn about pollinators like monarch butterflies and their relationship to milkweed, and plant some of your own!
April STEAM Club (K-12): Fridays at 4:15 pm
- April 3 – Zines! Make a mini-magazine, or zine!
- April 10 – Zines! 2. Finish or make a new zine!
- April 17 – Tech Day. Try out some robots and other tech for yourself, experiment with video game and website coding, and more!
- April 24 – Junk Journals. Make your own journals from recycled “junk” to celebrate National Library Week and Earth Day!
SPL has subscribed to coding platform Fiero! Fiero will be used at STEAM Club but you also sign up to use from home or wherever you are! Fiero helps teach coding through games, challenges (with prizes!), and more. Click on the picture to sign up, and watch this video if you need any help!
