YOUTH SUMMER READING PROGRAM Celebrate the underground this summer at the library with events for all ages, activities to do around town, take-home kits, and more! There are three age groups: preschoolers (ages 5 and under), youth (grades K-5), teens (grades 5-12). READING: Prizes are earned after completing a reading goal of 500 minutes. Reading logs are part of the signup kits at the library. For every ten minutes you read, place a sticker over an egg on your reading log. When it’s filled, you’ve finished 500 minutes! Our SRP program can also be done online! Find links to the online programs here: https://swantonpubliclibrary.org/srp-reading-challenge. Logs are due by 2:00 pm on August 6. ACTIVITY CHALLENGE: Preschoolers: Do all ten activities. Kids/teens: Do at least ten of the fourteen activities. Challenges can be picked up at the library or found on our website. Everyone who completes the challenge gets more prizes, plus entry into the Grand Prize Drawing!
