CLOSED for Halloween Hoopla - Find SPL on Main Street!
The library will be closed on Saturday, October 25 for Halloween Hoopla. Find us on Main Street during Hoopla for storytime every half hour, as well as play games and pick up a free book and candy!
Flu Shot Clinic
The Fulton County Health Department will be at the library from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, October 22 providing flu shots. Many insurance plans are accepted as well as Medicare and Medicaid. No registration required. Call the Health Department for more information at 419-337-0915.
Anime Club for grades 5-12
Join us from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, October 22, to watch 3-4 episodes of anime! The audience can choose which show(s) to watch. Japanese snacks included!

Halloween Costume Exchange
Drop off your gently used costumes, capes, wigs, accessories and more for Swanton Public Library’s costume exchange. Anytime through October 13 you can drop off your clean, gently used costume at the library. Then, on Monday, October 13, join us anytime from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm to “shop” for a costume. This is a free event and first come, first served.
BOLT meeting for grades 5-12
Middle and high school students can fill out an application to join the Board of Library Teens (BOLT). The next meeting is at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, October 8. BOLT is an advisory board of students in grades 5-12. At meetings they discuss books, assist in planning programs, provide input on issues related to teens, and eat snacks!
