Ever thought about having chickens of your very own? Librarian and experienced chicken keeper Courtney Newbury will be here at 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 17 to discuss the benefits and challenges of raising chickens. Registration is requested; walk-ins welcome!

Middle and high school students can fill out an application to join the Board of Library Teens (BOLT). The first meeting of the school year is at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, September 16. BOLT is an advisory board of students in grades 5-12. At meetings they discuss books/media, assist in planning programs, provide input on issues related to teens, and eat snacks!

Are you a Pokémon fan? Do you like the games? The show? The cards? Pokémon Go? Any of it? All of it? Then SPL’s Pokémon Club is for you – no matter what it is, we’ve got it! Join the club at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 12 to celebrate Pokémon TCG’s 30th anniversary!

Join librarian and Disney enthusiast Alonna Macho at 6:30 pm on Thursday, September 10 to talk about all things Disney World. Guest appearance from Disney cast member Sydney with tips and tricks for planning a Disney vacation!
