On the first Saturday in February, libraries across the world celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day. Children and families are invited to visit the library on February 3 anytime between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. We will have engaging activities and crafts set up open-house style, with refreshments and a storytime at noon! Two children – and one adult! – who attend will be randomly selected to win one of three gift baskets.
From LeBron James to Gabrielle Union to Matthew McConaughey, some celebrities also write children’s books! Come explore a few of them with us at storytime this month!
Interested in discussing the book club books in person this month? Participants are invited to one of two special book discussions on Wednesday, January 31, at 4:15 pm. Grades K-5 and grades 6-12 will meet separately to discuss the two books for their age groups – and enjoy cocoa and popcorn together!

All ages are invited to the library on Wednesday, January 24 at 6:00 pm for the classic comedy fantasy The Princess Bride. A bedridden boy’s grandfather reads him the story of a farmgirl-turned-princess who encounters numerous obstacles in her quest to be reunited with her true love.
