Nathan Jacobs, local author and leader of the writers’ group at the library, has published his first children’s book! Children and their families are invited to a reading from Nathan’s book Leaving the Pouch, a story about Lola Kangaroo and how she deals with her worries about her first day of school. Join Nathan on Monday, November 14 at 5:30 pm to talk about the book, first-day-of-school jitters, and more!

Come party for Halloween at the library! Preschoolers and grades K-5 are invited to celebrate at the library on Friday, October 28 at 4:00 pm. There will be spooky stories, games, pumpkin decorating, and (of course!) plenty of candy. Costumes welcome! No registration necessary. Free!
