Book Buddies for preschool and elementary school kids returns! Join the YWCA at 4:15 pm on Thursday, September 28 for fun with books, crafts, and activities. Kids also receive a take-home kit including a copy of the book!

 

Have a craving for popcorn and some time to spare? Join us at the library to sit back, relax, and enjoy a good film and good snacks! Families and all ages are invited to watch the Disney classic The Hunchback of Notre Dame at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 20. “At the urging of his hilarious gargoyle pals Victor, Hugo, and Laverne, Quasimodo leaves the solitary safety of his tower, venturing out to find his first true friend, the beauty Esmerelda.

Sign up to read aloud to a therapy dog! Newly certified therapy dog Barli will be back on Saturday, September 16 from 10:00 am to noon. Six 20-minute slots are available. Call, come in, or register online.

Did you know the library has all kinds of games to check out? Many new ones were just added, so we’d like to invite families and all ages to join us at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, September 13 to try some new games (and play some old favorites!) and win some prizes! Snacks and drinks provided!

Storytime classes will be held on Tuesdays at 10:30 am. All preschoolers are invited to attend; children two and under must be accompanied by a guardian. 

Explore Colors – Tuesdays, September 12 and 19 at 10:30 am. Explore all the colors of the world around us this month. Don’t forget to wear your favorite colors to these two storytimes!
