Don’t have time for a proper campaign? Or maybe you’re interested in learning more about how to play? Our professional dungeon master will be on hand on Tuesdays, February 7 and 21 at 5:00 pm. If possible, please bring a fifth edition fifth-level character sheet. Pre-generated characters will also be available for you to use. All ages are invited. This program is free to attend and no registration is required – just stop on in!

Documentary Night: Alice's Ordinary People

Join us for a ‘historical’ movie night at the library! In advance of a visit from documentarian Craig Dudnik – and just in time for Black History Month – we’ll be showing ‘Alice’s Ordinary People.’ This documentary follows the life and career of activist Alice Tregay and her Ordinary People, boots-on-the-ground civil rights activists of the Chicago Freedom Movement. No registration is necessary, and the library will provide popcorn and other refreshments! Stop in on Thursday, February 2 at 6:00 pm; we hope to see you there!

Cardmaking: Love Is In the Cards

Teacher Anna Geis will be here to show participants how to make three different cards, all with a Valentine’s Day theme. Class fee is $7/person for three cards; all supplies are provided. This class is scheduled for Thursday, January 19 at 5:00 pm. To participate, call, stop in, or register through our website. Please note that your final result may differ from examples.
