Teen Events
- Club Club Afterschool – Every day after school from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Enjoy snacks and arts and crafts, work on homework, or just hang out together.
- Cosplay Club – Mondays, December 1, 15, and 29. Meet at the library or Sew Beyond Blessed (101 Church St) to learn more about sewing and cosplays.
- Prism Club – Tuesdays, December 2 and 16 at 3:30 pm. Bring an open mind, and be ready to discuss books and play games.
- D&D Workshop – Tuesdays, December 2 and 30 at 4:30 pm. Work on character creation, miniature painting, and more.
- Sunshine Bell Choir – Thursday, December 4 at 2:00 pm. Celebrate beautiful music and the holidays with the Sunshine Bell Choir! Please register for this free program.
- STEAM Club: Papier-mâché – Friday, December 5 at 4:15 pm. Ever made papier-mâché? Neither has Ms. Alonna! Come experiment! All ages.
- Make It Snow with SPL at Christmas in Swanton! – Saturday, December 6 after the parade. Find SPL in Swanton High School's community room and experiment with different ways to make fake snow to take home. Available as long as supplies last.
- Dungeons & Dragons Club – Tuesdays, December 9, 16, and 23 at 4:30 pm. Please bring a fifth edition third-level character sheet if possible; pre-generated characters will also be available. New players, please register online.
- Retro Anime Club for Teens – Wednesday, December 10 at 3:30 pm. Join us to watch four episodes of anime. Japanese snacks included!
- STEAM Club: Flour Ornaments – Friday, December 12 at 4:15 pm. Create and bake your own ornaments using just flour, water, and salt! All ages.
- Teen Science Café: Cake Decorating – Wednesday, December 17 at 3:30 pm. Join other teens to learn more about cake decorating and decorate your own cupcakes with Kristina Stormer!
- Youth Chess Club – Thursday, December 18 at 4:15 pm. Join librarian and chess player Alonna to learn more about the game! Open to all youth.
- STEAM Club: Brain Games – Friday, December 19 at 4:15 pm. Cryptograms, ciphers, and more! All ages.
- Holiday Cookie Decorating – Monday, December 22 at 11:00 am. We’ll have cookies, frosting, and all manner of trimmings set out for all ages to decorate at your leisure! Gluten-free options available.
