Teen Events

  • CLUB CLUB AFTERSCHOOL – Every day after school from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Enjoy snacks and arts and crafts, work on homework, or just hang out together. Participants can request a special craft or activity on Thursdays. Note: No CCA on May 9, 26, or 30.
  • STEAM Club: PEEP SCIENCE – Friday, May 2 at 4:15 pm. It’s finally happening!  Experiment with leftover marshmallow Peeps! 👀 All ages.
  • COSPLAY CLUB FOR TEENS at SEW BEYOND BLESSED – Mondays, May 5 and 19 at 3:30 pm. Meet the cosplay club at Sew Beyond Blessed (101 Church Street) to work on your costumes and learn more about sewing with local seamstress and cosplayer @elysiandawn.cos. 
  • PRISM FOR TEENS – Tuesdays, May 6 and 20 at 4:00 pm. SPL Teens' pride club. Participants are encouraged to bring an open mind, and be ready to play games and do diamond art.
  • TEEN SCIENCE CAFE: FLORISTS & MORE – Wednesday, May 7 at 3:30 pm. Teen Science Café is a free program where teens and STEM experts collaborate on presentations and hands-on activities, and is led by teens for teens with the help of an adult leader. Join other teens to hear a professional florist turned hobbyist talk about the ins and outs of flower arranging, and make your own arrangement.
  • DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS CLUB – Monday, May 12 and Tuesday, May 27 at 4:30 pm. Join our professional dungeon master for a fantastic adventure! All ages.
  • D&D WORKSHOP – Tuesday, May 13 at 4:30 pm. Stop by to work on character creation, miniature painting, and more.
  • ANIME CLUB FOR TEENS – Wednesday, May 14 at 4:00 pm. Join us to watch three episodes of anime. Japanese snacks included!
  • STEAM Club: COSMETIC CHEMISTRY 2: Friday, May 16 at 4:15 pm. Experiment with LaJAshley’s Little Science Lab Kit to make Botanical Hair and Body Mist. All ages.
  • STEAM Club: CLAY PAINTING: Friday, May 23 at 4:15 pm. Combine clay and painting to make works of art. All ages.
  • STEAM Club: OPEN HOUSE: Friday, May 30  at 4:15 pm. See tech demos (and try out some robots and other things for yourself), experiment with art, play with Legos, and more! All ages.
