• POTION MAKING: October 4. Mix potions, make slime, and more!
• PBS KIDS & NATURE: October 11. Play Fall Bingo outside (weather permitting)!
• LEGO ARCHITECTURE: October 18. Design your own buildings with LEGOⓇ!
• POLICE PROGRAM: October 25. Meet at SPL and then go next door for a tour and a look at a real police car. Walk-ins welcome, but please register if possible at amacho.spl@gmail.com.

Interested in joining BOLT (Board of Library Teens)? The next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 9 at 4:30 pm. Pick up an application at the library and turn it in at the front desk or bring it to the meeting. Members help with party planning and book selection, and eat snacks! Open to grades 5-12.

Come party for Halloween a day early this month! Show up at the library between 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm on Wednesday, October 30 and celebrate the scariest day of the year. Participate in a costume contest, play games like Werewolf, decorate pumpkin cookies, and (of course!) eat lots of candy. Free! No registration necessary. Open to grades 5-12.

Join us at the library at 4:30 pm on Thursday, October 24 for the 25th anniversary of the Lights On Afterschool event! To celebrate, we’ll have games, crafts, snacks, and more – all with a spooky theme. Launched in 2000 and organized by Afterschool Alliance, Lights On Afterschool is the only nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families, and communities.
