Interested in joining BOLT? Come to the meeting at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, May 2. Late arrivals are fine — just show up before  5:15 pm. Help with book selection and party planning, and eat snacks! Open to grades 5-12.

Join us from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 11 for an afternoon full of anime! Join us to watch three episodes of anime chosen by the attendees. Snacks and drinks will also be provided. Open to grades 5-12. No registration needed.

Teacher Anna Geis will be here to show participants how to make three different cards honoring fathers and the men in your life! This class is scheduled for Thursday, May 19 at 5:00 pm. To participate, call, stop in, or register on our website. Class fee is $7/person for three cards; all supplies are provided.

Fulton County Wellness Center will hold a Babysitting Clinic from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 7, at the library. Participants must be 11 years old to attend. Those who complete the course will be certified in babysitting (doesn’t include CPR). Bring a sack lunch. Beverages and a snack are provided. Please pre-register at the library; a fee of $50 is due at sign up. A minimum of 8 participants is required.

The Swanton Library is proud to host two Easter Egg Hunts on Wednesday, April 13! Toddlers are invited to join the fun at Rotary Park (between the library and the police station) at 2:00 pm for their own special hunt; elementary-age kids will meet at Pilliod Park (on the other side of the library) at 2:30 pm. As an added bonus, five special eggs will contain a golden ticket. The lucky persons who find a golden ticket will be awarded a special prize. The rain date will be Friday, April 15 at 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm. All youth are welcome; the limit is fifteen eggs per child.
