Don’t have time for a proper campaign? Or maybe you’re interested in learning more about how to play? Our own professional dungeon master will be on hand on Tuesdays, October 4 and 18 starting at 5:00 pm here at the library to help you on your evening adventures. If possible, please bring a fifth edition third-level character sheet. Pre-generated characters will also be available for you to use. This program is free to attend and no registration is required – just stop on in! 

 

For those in the know, September 22 is a bookish holiday known as Hobbit Day, celebrated by Lord of the Rings aficionados who want to party like a hobbit! On September 22 at 3:30 pm, join the librarians for Afternoon Tea (complete with nerdy food and drink) and a short Tolkien-themed cooking class. This program is free to attend, but space is very limited! Participants must bring their own large frying pan for this event, but all other supplies are provided. Stop in, call, or register through our website today! 

Come to the library from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, September 21, to watch three episodes of anime(s) chosen by the attendees. Snacks, Japanese and otherwise, and drinks will also be provided. No registration required. FREE!

 

Coding for grades K-12 is meeting on a new day this month! The club will meet every other Tuesday on both September 13 and 27. Show up anytime between 4:00 pm and 5:15 pm to participate! Have fun playing with robots, programming your own Switch games, and more!

The library invites middle and high schoolers to participate in the Board of Library Teens (BOLT). The first meeting of the school year is at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, September 7.  BOLT is an advisory board of students in grades 5-12. At meetings they discuss books, assist in planning programs, provide input on issues related to teens, and eat snacks! 

Please bring a third-level character of your own! If you're not sure how or don't have time, some pre-made characters will be available.
