Fulton County Wellness Center will hold a Babysitting Clinic from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 7, at the library. Participants must be 11 years old to attend. Those who complete the course will be certified in babysitting (doesn’t include CPR). Bring a sack lunch. Beverages and a snack are provided. Please pre-register at the library; a fee of $50 is due at sign up. A minimum of 8 participants is required.
Join us from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, April 27 for an afternoon full of anime! Join us to watch three episodes of anime chosen by the attendees. Japanese snacks and drinks will also be provided. Open to grades 5-12. No registration needed.
The Swanton Library is proud to host two Easter Egg Hunts on Wednesday, April 13! Toddlers are invited to join the fun at Rotary Park (between the library and the police station) at 2:00 pm for their own special hunt; elementary-age kids will meet at Pilliod Park (on the other side of the library) at 2:30 pm. As an added bonus, five special eggs will contain a golden ticket. The lucky persons who find a golden ticket will be awarded a special prize. The rain date will be Friday, April 15 at 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm. All youth are welcome; the limit is fifteen eggs per child.

Members of the Board of Library Teens (BOLT) will be at the Easter Egg Hunt in Pilliod Park between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 13 to offer homemade goodies. Stop by the table in the park and pick up some sweet treats! Goods are available for donation. All proceeds go to supporting BOLT and library programs for teens.
Book Bingo is still going on! Get your entries turned in by March 17; stop by the library (or ask for curbside pickup) to pick up a Bingo sheet, or download one from our website. Finish enough of these challenges to make at least one bingo and you can pick from one of our mystery books! Ambitious readers get a chance at a gift card if they read more than one bingo.
