BOLT Bake Sale at Pilliod Park
Members of the Board of Library Teens (BOLT) will be at the Easter Egg Hunt in Pilliod Park between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 13 to offer homemade goodies. Stop by the table in the park and pick up some sweet treats! Goods are available for donation. All proceeds go to supporting BOLT and library programs for teens.
Storytime Kit: If You Give a Mouse a Cookie
Grab one of our do-it-at-home storytime kits this month! We’ve picked one book from #HarperKids, a YouTube channel presented by HarperCollins Children’s Books, and one from #BNStorytime, Barnes & Noble’s storytime series, to showcase and put together packets with activities, stickers, an instrument, a craft, and more to take home. We will be mass ordering a copy of one book from other libraries for participants to borrow and return. The other book is yours to keep!

Sign up to read aloud to a certified therapy dog. Improve reading skills and have fun reading with a friendly dog at the same time! Australian shepherd Natty will be here from 10:00 am on Saturday, April 23. Kids can read to her in 20-minute slots; six slots are available total. Call, come in, or visit our website to register.

Coding Club for grades K-12
Coding for grades K-12 is back in action! Thanks to a grant from the American Library Association and Google for Education for Digital Learning Day, we have new equipment, including coding robot Cue, and can now hold classes of up to five students while still maintaining social distancing!
