Thursday, August 11 at 5:30 pm. Join Marty Kaback for a discussion of Find Me by Alafair Burke. “She calls herself Hope Miller, but she has no idea who she actually is. This club focuses on books that have been covered by podcasts; book kits with information about the book, author, podcast, and where to access it will be available to bring home (and keep!) for anyone interested. Participants will join our adult services librarian on Tuesday, August 23 at 5:30 pm on GoogleMeet to discuss Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann.

Heatwave or no, it’s picnic season! With that in mind, the SPL Toastbusters picked a title to help kickstart your portable culinary adventures! For our July meeting, we’ll be reading The Picnic by Marnie Hanel. Simply stop in, check out a copy of the book, register, and come back for our potluck style meeting on Tuesday, July 19 at 5:30 pm with a dish of your choice from the book. Stop in, call, or register online as soon as possible – copies of the book are very limited!

The warm weather is definitely warm and is definitely here to stay for a while. For some of us, that means vacations (or staycations)! Stop in at the library and paint your own beach to take your mind off the heat! Join local artist Rick Fravor of Blindsighted Brushwork on Saturday, July 16 at 10:30 am to paint your own relaxing beach scene. Registration is required, but all supplies are provided! This program is generously funded by FOSPL.
