Join us at the Swanton Public Library for a meet-and-greet and book signing with local author Sheila Ruby! Sheila will be available to both sign books and discuss her memoir A Brief Silence! So stop by on Saturday, August 19 starting at 10:00am and meet some of our local talent!

Join the Toastbusters, a potluck-style club where participants read the selected cookbook, try out a recipe or two, and bring the results to share! Confused about Social Security? Medicare? Look no further! Val Edwards from the Fulton County Senior Center will be at the library to help walk you through questions about topics such as Medicare, senior assistance programs, insurance, and more! Call Val at the Senior Center at 419-337-9299 to schedule an appointment for Thursday, August 17 between 10:00 am to noon. This is a free service provided by FCSC and is by appointment only. 

In honor of the upcoming Fulton County Fair, Anna Geis will be here to show participants how to make three different cards with a fair theme. This class is scheduled for Thursday, August 17 at 5:30 pm. To participate, call, stop in, or register on our website. Class fee is $7/person for three cards; all supplies are provided.
