This club focuses on books that have been covered by podcasts; book kits with information about the book, author, podcast, and where to access it will be available to bring home (and keep!) for anyone interested. Heatwave or no, it’s picnic season! With that in mind, the SPL Toastbusters picked a title to help kickstart your portable culinary adventures! For our July meeting, we’ll be reading The Picnic by Marnie Hanel. Simply stop in, check out a copy of the book, register, and come back for our potluck style meeting on Tuesday, July 19 at 5:30 pm with a dish of your choice from the book. Stop in at the library and paint your own beach to take your mind off the heat! Join local artist Rick Fravor of Blindsighted Brushwork on Saturday, July 16 at 10:30 am to paint your own relaxing beach scene. Registration is required, but all supplies are provided! The Swanton Public Library is hosting this  monthly group. No registration is required and walk-ins are encouraged. All you need is yourself and your current sewing project; we hope to see you there!
