This club focuses on books that have been covered by podcasts; book kits with information about the book, author, podcast, and where to access it will be available to bring home (and keep!) for anyone interested. Toastbusters Cookbook Club: The Picnic

Heatwave or no, it’s picnic season! With that in mind, the SPL Toastbusters picked a title to help kickstart your portable culinary adventures! For our July meeting, we’ll be reading The Picnic by Marnie Hanel. Simply stop in, check out a copy of the book, register, and come back for our potluck style meeting on Tuesday, July 19 at 5:30 pm with a dish of your choice from the book. Stop in, call, or register online as soon as possible – copies of the book are very limited!

Cardmaking: Sending Sunshine

The warm weather is definitely warm and is definitely here to stay for a while. For some of us, that means vacations (or staycations)! Why not send your loved ones a homemade card while they – or you – are out on your adventures? Stop in on Thursday, July 21 at 5:00 pm for some crafting! Class fee is $8/person, but all supplies are provided. Please note that your finished result may not match exactly with the examples provided by instructor Anna Geis. Seam Rippers Sewing Club

Do you have some free time in the mornings and want to brush up on your sewing skills? Do you have some sewing projects and just want a little company while you work? Then join the Seam Rippers! The Swanton Public Library is hosting this  monthly group. No registration is required and walk-ins are encouraged. All you need is yourself and your current sewing project; we hope to see you there!
