Serving the informational, recreational, and educational needs of our community

Second Lady Usha Vance invites students entering grades K-8 to participate in her Summer Reading Challenge. Through September 4, students are encouraged to read 12 books. Participants will be eligible for prizes and a chance to visit Washington DC. 

Storytime for preschoolers is held on Tuesdays at 10:45 am. Books, crafts, fingerplays, and more! Children 2 and under must be accompanied by a guardian.

Lunch at the library at 12:30 pm every weekday in June 2 through August 5! Lunches for up to 25 kids provided by the Swanton Alumni Foundation and other local sponsors. 

Tues. June 9 at 3:00 pm. Challenge a librarian and/or other kids to play any game!
